<p>I know that the website for Y says that they give special consideration to CC students. Unfortunately, from what I’ve seen in over the past 3 years of transfers, the numbers have been pretty low. My D transferred to Y in fall 2008, she said there was 1 CC transfer the year before, 0-1 her year and 0 in 2009. </p>
<p>In no way am I saying it’s impossible, just that it’s rare, but it is for anybody. As long as you have some rock solid safeties, that makes it reasonable that you’re shooting for some reach schools.</p>
