<p>Alright, so I'm an incoming Poli Sci Transfer for this fall, transferring from El Camino. I took a Bio class at Santa Monica in the Fall 05. The provisional admission checklist required me to send my transcripts for classes before Spring 2006 before June 1st, I believe, and transcripts that included SPring 2006 was due July 15th. So, I immediately sent transcripts from Santa Monica and El Camino right after I got the acceptance letter, which was May 20-something. After the spring semester ended, I sent anohter official transcript from El Camino. </p>

<p>Well, I received an email saying that my admission was in jeopardy because they have yet to receive the Santa Monica transcript. I checked on myUCLA, and it says "A preliminary transcript has been received from SANTA MONICA COLLEGE. A final transcript is still required." I've already SENT the final transcript, as I didn't take any classes there in the spring, so I wouldn't have to send another transcript. I've been trying to call, but no one seems to be working at UCLA during the summer. My deadline is Sept 1st- what should I do? Send ANOTHER transcript to UCLA? </p>

<p>They still work during summer. You should just call again.</p>

<p>Try staying on the phone line, and it'll eventually transfer you to a live person. Make sure you call during weekdays working hours of course. You need to explain your situation to them asap. If all else fails, email them and you will get a response in 3-5 days, but call first.</p>

<p>Alright...I'll have to wait until Monday (which coincidentally is my orientation) to deal w/ this. I mean, technically, I should be fine right? They probably assumed I was still taking classes at SMC in the Spring...but I don't know why they would think that.</p>

<p>ooh, sorry i didnt see this earlier, but maybe we could meet when the school year starts, sandkicks haha. i went to murphy and explained my situation, they said they received my transcript, so they dont know why it is the way it is. they checked my file and realized my smc transcript is MISSING. i mean, really, did it sprout legs and walk away?? they're going to 'investigate' and get back to me...i swear, it would probably be easier to rush a transcript, then hand-deliver it to UCLA!</p>
