Transfer UCSB to UCLA?

I am currently enrolled at UCSB and wanted to transfer to UCLA. I am an out of state student and am currently home because I have taken my winter and spring semesters off to be at home for family troubles and have been enrolled in local community college classes. I have already been offered readmission to UCSB because I left the school on good academic standing. My question is, what are my chances of being accepted to ucla from Ucsb and is it even possible? I would have to wait until November to apply for transfer , and would not be able to be admitted until the fall of 2016. Right now, I have about 80 total units at Ucsb. I am wondering if I should apply to ucla for transfer and just take a light schedule load at Ucsb this year, to prevent going over the maximum amount of units allowed for transfer?
