Transfer University of Illinois U-C chances?

<p>I am interested in entering the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Fall 2015. What are my chances?</p>

<p>Applied to: Illinois State University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign</p>

<p>Major: Special Education</p>

<p>Community College GPA: 4.0 after 5 semesters (I was pursuing Elementary Education and switched majors)</p>

<p>ACT Score: 22</p>

<p>ECs: Vice President of Student Government Freshman Year of college. Held a 5k run in my city benefiting children.</p>

<p>Employment - Walmart since 2006. Worked as a manager for 3 years before taking a self demotion to go to college full time.</p>

<p>Honors/Awards: Member of Phi Theta Kappa. Certificate from math department at my community college for a perfect score on a final.</p>

<p>I would like to transfer in the Fall of 2015. I plan to take Spanish I, Statistics, and Intro to Education in the Spring of 2015. During the summer I will take Spanish II. I will have completed 76 credit hours by time I transfer. (Only about 60 credit hours will count towards my degree)</p>

<p>Illinois State you should be fine. Your ACT score is a bit lower for UIUC education, but they like community college transfers and a 4.0 shows you are committed, so I would say 50/50.</p>
