Do we sign up for classes during orientation?

i think so

I was going through some webpages and it shows that transfers need to request courses for the fall semester before orientation.

This only applies to Human Ecology students tho.

I'm pretty sure that yeah, it's at orientation.

As I said in another thread, I'm going up to Cornell tomorrow for a meeting about credits and stuff... I could ask them and post on here what they tell me if you'd like!

Sounds great.

Hey party people...so guess what? I went to my credit meeting thing (and managed to get 6 more credits then they had originally assigned me, woohoo!), and asked about registering. Apparently transfers can "pre-enroll" - pick classes before registering, apparently, and they are sending home the forms and info to do so. Sure enough...when I arrived back at my house, I had the CU envelope sitting in my mailbox. It's a letter on what to do, a yellow form to fill out and mail or fax back, and a couple pages about the first year writing seminars. They said people should be getting that in the mail fairly soon, and to take some time and check out the courses you might want to take online.

I wish they had mentioned the pre-enrollment stuff before hand, but hey. Apparently you can fill it out, and if you get to orientation or school and change your mind, you can talk to an adviser and switch things up until the end of the third week of classes. So you're not locked in to whatever you pick.

sounds good...

I already took writing in my freshman year, apparently, they want me to take an additional seminar at Cornell...gahh...

I know what you mean...freshman writing again, great, huh? :-P
