transfer with 3.27 from Lehigh??

Hey guys,

I have a 3.27 gpa with 14 credits as a freshman at Lehigh. My high school stats were pretty good, 1380, top 7% of class, all honors classes. I was wondering what my chances of transferring for fall of '06 would be to schools like BU and Northeastern. I will be attending Monmouth U this spring since I couldn't stand Lehigh any longer. My grades will most likely be straight A's at Monmouth. I am looking for city schools with decent business programs to apply to. I really like the city of Boston as of now. It would be great if you guys could give me some insight about my chances to transfer to places like BU or NEU as a soph. I would also gladly accept other schools to look into. Thanks.

i think u stand a good chance at NEU and BU

anyone else???

Since most schools you'd be applying to would not get to see any of your grades from Monmouth, I think you should wait and transfer from Monmouth the following year where you have some time to build up your GPA. A 3.27, while not terrible, isn't going to get you very far.

well he only wants to transfer to NEU...its not going to be that competitive.

hey im also going to Monmouth U this spring because im taking time off from my college what r u taking?

I haven't registered for any classes yet, I guess I am doing that at that transfer orientation thing on the 9th.

oh ok thats fine...im taking intro to pyschology and intro to public policy

To OP:your profile is almost exactly the same as mine except I'm at William& Mary

interesting, so what do you think of my chances?

I would say you're a shoe-in at BU and could probably get into NE pretty easily. You may want to look at some other schools in the area such as Brandeis, BC, etc.
