Hello!
I plan on transferring to FSU once I recieve my AA from UNF. I am currently a freshman at UNF.
I want to enter the Geography program. Not really sure if that program is hard to get into either.
Grades:
Summer: All A's - 3.8 GPA
Fall: 3.0 (crappy, messing around!)
Spring: In progress... I have A's/B's though.

If I get good grades next in the summer and the fall, would I have a chance?

Thanks!

Be sure you have all of your perquisites for the major you want by the time you complete your AA. Find the Academic Map for your FSU intended major and be sure you can start out ON TRACK for your junior year. FSU and UF are trying to become lean machines, and get students out in 4 years. State tuition is a real deal. To be honest, it is so cheap, that only makes it worse on the U if it takes a 4 1/2 or 5 years to get a degree. You have the best change with decent stats AND the prereg's for your major done. It is no longer just about gen ed req's. You need both for smooth sailing to an acceptance.

thanks.
my major doesn't really have pre reqs except 2 GEO courses. i think it's an unpopular major.

do you have any idea as to a decent GPA?

3.0 is a minimum requirement. I'd guess 3.5 is good.

thanks.
any more ideas/experiences anyone can share?

don't mean to be annoying but ummm Bump?
