transfer with bad GPA?

This is my first quarter of community college and it looks like I will end the quarter just short of a 2.0, mostly because i missed a math exam by accident. My problem is that the school I want to transfer to requires transfer students to have at least a 2.0 and 12 quarter hours since I fall short of that, is it best for me to apply now and fill out the admission petition form or should I wait until the end of winter quarter and then apply? The school is Wright State University in Ohio and they use a rolling admission if that helps. I really don't know what to do and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

It couldn’t hurt to take another semester at the community college and get your gpa up (and the required course credits). That seems like the best solution.
