Hi, I’m currently attending a CC, looking to transfer to CPP. I have a 2.4 GPA currently. I have finished all my GEs. I have an AS-T in Mathematics. Long story short I changed my major at CSUF to CIS and took lower division business courses at CC. I have a 2.4 GPA and haven’t finishied a few of hte courses on the assist.org site. What are my chances? Thanks

I can tell you that I got accepted with a 2.4 GPA into CIS a couple years ago. Just graduated on Saturday. So I will say that you definitely have a chance. You’d probably have a pretty good chance since CIS does not get a whole lot of applicants either.

Nice. Congratulations! How old are you

Finish as many pre-reqs as you can (or all of them) so you can make your application /stronger/.

@cuteturtle I was 26 at the time of my application to CPP (had a lot of problems when I started my college career).

I’d do as xxcapital says and make sure to handle all your core business classes. That should consist of accounting (managerial and financial), business calculus, stats, economics (macro and micro). I’d also say you should complete intro to java programming. If your school offers C++, its a bonus since it’ll count as an elective course (you need 16 units of electives to graduate).

The program does not get a ton of applicants (maybe 200) and maybe 5-6 are rejected.
