<p>If someone is transferring to Bama & going to be in the Honors College I assume they won’t be eligible for Honors Housing?
How hard will it be to find somewhere close to campus for Spring Semester?</p>
<p>Honors transfers are usually not eligible for honors housing…unless there are openings…which sometimes happens in the Spring.</p>
<p>I would contact Housing and ask to speak with one of the directors/managers (not just the person who answers the phone) and ask if there might be an opening in an honors suite for spring. </p>
<p>If not available, then look at The Retreat, East Edge or other housing that offers bus service to the campus. I know that The Retreat has openings.</p>
<p>I know there’s going to be at least 3 openings in Ridgecrest South, North tower for the Spring (actually 4 honors spots total, not sure of location #4) due to co-op, internships & study abroad opportunities. I don’t know how Housing prioritizes who gets those spots, but I also know that’s not unusual, based on what D1 has seen during her time at UA.</p>
