Whats a solid GPA to get to transfer over to NU. I have a 3.58 from Rutgers New Bruns, will that Cut it or no.

thats not how selective admissions work. you're GPA is competitive.

how does the selective admission work

selective admissions takes a whole lot more than GPA into consideration for transfer. Most sucsessful applicants have high GPAs, but honestly, most people who even bother to apply to selective schools have high GPAs. So the ones who the admissions committee picks are the ones who leap off the sheet of paper as those who are likely to excel not only on tests and papers, but in classroom debate (teacher recs) and in the wider world (extra curriculars) They also want people who are thoughful and passionate, which essays can demostrate. SAT scores are also factored into the decision. Sorry if you already knew all this, it just sounded from your posts like you didn't. Good luck and let us know if you want any more help.

No, it is not.

Do you ever, nspeds, make a post where you are not simply quoting someone else and contradicting them (and often with no support appended to your objection)?

Try to be original for once.

heeeeyyy, isn't that political girl? how are you!?

haha I'm good! how are YOU?

I think that might have been directed towards me. I believe martini was the one I had the debate about (amongst all wonderful topics) Iraq with. Haha, I'm fine. How is Madison? I do hope the protesters are still raising hell. Although probably not so much anymore that the school is being sued and all that.

Although we should probably cease discussion of the topic IMMEDIATELY! as last time, the administrator removed our entire thread for being too...oh right -- "off topic." Interesting, nevertheless, how people have gotten away with pages upon pages of cute (but ever-so irrelevent) philosophic debates -- and as soon as someone brings up American foreign policy, it's just too off topic, kids.
