Transfer

Hi,

I am a sophomore and go to NYU right now.
And I would like to transfer to Cornell as a junior (ILR or Human Ecology)
but the thing is my college gpa is very low (3.2), as I struggled from one of the classes I took, which brought down my gpa.
The transfer application is due March 15, and I really don’t know if I should try or not.
what is my chances of getting accepted? or would it be just a waste of time and money?

Thank you!

If you want to transfer, go for it. Simple as that. No one can tell you if it’s a waste until you get your results. Keep in mind, Cornell and NYU are two completely different schools - are you sure you’ll like Cornell?

You might as well try but your GPA is going to be difficult to get around unless you have a good reason for it that you can address in your essay
