If I cannot get into my Big 10 business school I don’t want to stay and want to transfer back as an incoming junior to a California UC of CSU campus. I am told this is not possible even with a 3.5 gpa?
You’ll get more answers if you clarify what you’re actually asking. Right now it’s really vague and makes little sense.
A 3.5 GPA in high school and mid range ACT/SAT and a complete a-g transcript will get you into all the CSUs except Cal Poly SLO and SDSU. It won’t take you as far in UC land - perhaps UCM, though I don’t think they offer a Business major.
Assuming that’s your situation, take a look at CSULB. Fullerton and Chico - all 3 have solid programs.

Which university are you attending? A GPA of 3.5 as a transfer student is competitive for the majority of CSU’s and UC’s, but depending upon where you are attending currently, some of the classes may not transfer. Have contacted a transfer advisor at your current school?
