transfer

hello, iam going to smeal, the business school for pennstate university this fall. I have wanted to go to NYU for a really long time, but only to their stern school of business. Basically i just want to ask you guys on how hard is it to transfer into stern, and is it done after freshman year or sophmore year?

any advise would be appreciated

According to the NYU website:
The Stern School of Business considers transfer students for the fall
semester only. As a result, competition is significant and the transfer
admission process is highly selective. Students who are most competitive typically present extraordinary records of achievement on both the undergraduate and secondary school levels.

what do u mean by "secondary school?"

is that supposed to mean high school? So even if i do well in college prior to the transfer, NYU would look at my credentials from HS as well?

I think so

“What do I mean”... first, I didn't write the information...
I posted this information from the NYU application. I could only assume “secondary school record” means high school transcript...although I'm only guessing. I recommend contacting the NYU admissions office to clarify your questions.

Yes, it means high school and yes, they will look at your h/s stats as well as what you've done in college.
