So I am transferring (from an out-of-state university) to either UNC(chapel hill) or NC State. I am currently a biology major and I plan to either go into dermatology(med school) or natural resource conservation (like dealing with pollution/ natural disasters etc) and i have no idea which college to choose!!! I want to hear about the two compared/contrasted including their campus life, academics, classes, programs, and which would be the better school for me!!!
Why North Carolina? If you are serious about med school, paying for the OOS tuition/fees is just money you could be saving for med school.
You can major in anything for med school, and the core sciences for natural resources will be pretty much the same as for pre-med. My guess would be that one or the other has a stronger natural resources major, so if you are serious about that, you need to choose the university with the better program. Read through the course catalogues and major requirements at the two websites.
I am originally from NC, I am currently at an out-of-state college. Im transferring in-state for my sophomore year to save money. Im keeping the biology major i just have to pathways i could go.
