Transfer

I am currently a student at Oakland university with hopes to transfer to MSU in the fall next year. after this spring semester is completed I will have 30 credits, and around a 3.3 GPA. high school I had a 3.2 and a 28 on the act. the status update like many of you have say. that my academic performance suggest that I would succeed at MSU but they want to see my final grades of the spring term.

what are my chances of admission?

if you got your required classes done with a 3.0 or better in both of them, and your gpa stay at where its at right now. you should have a good shot of getting in.

My Story: I am a freshman at Wayne State University and applied to MSU for the fall as well. I have. a 3,77 and I am currently taking the English credit and will be taking the Math credit over the summer. MSU emailed me and said that they have Completed a Preliminary review of my application and that I am admissible to the University. Im not quite sure if I am completely in the college or that they still want to see my summer grades but, from the sounds of it I would assume that I am qualified for MSU but will give me an official answer near the spring time.

I had a 3.6 college gpa at the time of applying (around January) and they told me the same thing. If you have more than 28 credits then you don’t need to send high school stuff in, so that’s sweet for people like me who didn’t do so well :stuck_out_tongue: I’d love to hear an update whenever you get one! I’m worried that I’ll send my transcript at the end of may and they’ll take a couple of months to tell me my decision and i wont have time to get everything figured out /:
