Transfer

How are transfer applicant evalutated? Why do transfer applicants need to submit their SAT score? Is it an important criteria?

Can anyone answer my question

second most important factor: caliber of college you're transferring from

third most important factor: SAT I score

fourth most important factor: reasons for tranferring and what you can contribute to the new college.

last: recommendations

Your SAT score carries more weight when you're a freshman transferring to another college for you sophomore year becuase you're still only one year removed from high school, so your SAT score can still indicate how strong of a student you are.

When you transfer as a sophomore to another college for your junior year, your SAT doesn't carry much weight; your college grades will become much more important.

You can always retake the SATs if you feel that your score might be put you at a disadvantage when applying for transfer though.
