Transfer

Hi everyone, I'm currently a sophomore at Georgetown U in DC. I'm interested in transferring to another school either for admission next semester (spring semester) or for next year (junior year) I realize most schools don't offer transfer admission in the middle of the year so most likely I would apply for admission next year. I just wanted to get a sense of what kind if schools I have an actual shot at. I was hoping to go to a smaller, more liberal, LAC. Geographic location isn't that important to me, but please recommend any schools you think I might have a shot at. Thanks!

My info:
High School GPA: 4.0/4.0 at a very competitive private school that didn't rank
SAT: 2150/1470
Undergrad GPA: 3.63 but I think by the end of the year I can get it to 3.7 or above.
I think my essays should be very strong and I also have an impressive resume and good work experience including during the school year. Thanks

You'll probably get in anywhere you apply.

What's your major? And why don't you like Georgetown?

Assuming you plan on transferring "up", there aren't a lot of schools better than Georgetown... and the ones that are usually have incredibly competitive transfer admissions policies. For those schools, I'd say your GPA is a bit on the low side. It's hard to say, though, as your application success is highly contingent upon your essays, ECs, and luck as well.

bump.......
