I know that Baylor and Rice are affiliated, so does anyone know how Baylor credits would fare in a transfer to Rice?
Also, is it true the Rice is way more competitive than Baylor?

Yeah, for the most part. However, it may be different depending on your major. For instance, I believe baylor is more competitive when it comes to journalism or english. Rice is more so when it comes to things like biology, chemistry, all the maths and sciences. As far as a transfer goes, since they are both in the same state and private it should go well. Troubles when it comes to transfering usually occur with students transferring to a college in a different state than the one they’re in and when transferring from a public to private university. As far as credits go you should call the registrar office at Rice.

Most of the first two years should transfer relatively easily, but the upper level courses become more challenging. My advisor at Baylor worked some transfer credits into degree programs for friends of mine. A philosophy of religion may work as a philosophy or a religion class.
