How hard is it to get into the business program at Uconn as a transfer student. I was put into their regional campus with a gen ed major eve though i wanted the business requirment. I did pretty bad in highschool with a 84 85 overall gpa. But i had a heart condition problem in highschoool that deffered me from doing my best. Now first semester was tough for me to because i was just gettin guse to college. I got a 2.82 overall. Now i am retaking my math class that i got a c plus in and right know its B plus. I'm hoping my grade changes overall to a 3.0 to a 3.1 and now this semester i am hoping to have a 3.7 to a 3.8. I currently have that and i hope that i can maintain that gpa. Do i have a chance to transfer to storrs Uconn or should i maintian this gpa and then try again next semester. O by the way i will have 27 credits after 1 full year as a freshman. I will take classes in the summer to. I am also instate

can anyone help me plz

It will be very difficult to get in with a GPA of 3.1. I would suggest having an cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 and fulfilling these requirements: [How to Apply - Current UConn Students : University of Connecticut School of Business](http://www.business.uconn.edu/cms/p286)

well im not going to have a 3.1 after this semester. Hopefully it’ll be higher im not going to jinx myself but right know i have a 3.6-3.7. So combine that with a 3.1 thats like a 3.4 maybe and then i thought since Uconn will take a look at my highschool grades and since they were bad i should apply for the spring of my sophmore year. Does that sound like a good idea. I can build my gpa up and take the gen ed requirments at my school

what are the gen ed requirments so that i can take those classes next semester and the summer to.

can someone help me with the gen ed requirments

The general education requirements are pretty clear on the website. Go to the School of Business page and click on the undergraduate program and then the plans of study. If you are interested in the program, it would probably help you if you did some research.
