<p>So, I think the idea developing here is do everything in your power to go where you WANT to go, and don’t take transferring for granted. But if finances are preventing you from going where you WANT, talk to the school you WANT to go to and ask if they can defer you for financial reasons for a year and if they’ll accept you as a transfer student. Can’t hurt to try if that’s what’s going on – we can’t tell from your post what’s prompting your question.</p>
