Transfer

I am currently finishing my Freshman year as an undergraduate and have applied at 6 universities to transfer. Each of them had a separate due date, and most of them send decisions in mid-May. However, one of the schools accepted me about a week and a half ago. It was around the top of my choices, and I feel like it's a great fit, but I would like to wait to hear back from the other schools.

My question is, will waiting to accept this school's invitation (given that I only get accepted to schools lower on my list) endanger my chance for housing on campus as a transfer student, and perhaps financial aid?

P.S. Do undergraduate transfer students receive packets in the mail after acceptance like high school students? If so, how long do those take to come after the online notification?

Thanks in advance.

Sometimes waiting to commit to a college can limit housing options. You might want to call and ask how urgent it is that you put down your deposit, and if all or part of the deposit is refundable.

As far as FA, no school should require you to commit without knowing your FA package.
