My number one school right now is UCLA. If I dont get into UCLA and went to UCSB for a year, how hard would it be to transfer into UCLA?

Pretty hard. CCC transfers have priority over UC to UC transfers so if you do not get into UCLA this year you would probably be better off staying at your CCC for another year and getting your GPA up than going to UCSB and trying to transfer from there to UCLA in a year.

While UCLA proclaims that intercampus transfers receive the same priority as CCC transfers, the admit rate is quite a bit lower if you look at the admission stats.

If you are ok with getting a degree at UCSB, then go there and apply for transfer to see if UCLA accepts you. If you really want to attend UCLA, your chance will improve significantly if you attend CCC.
