<p>Which weights more during the transfer process transferable GPA or Overall GPA. Or which do they look at.</p>
<p>I'm not looking for how the U.C. weights it, I already know. I'm wondering how private institutes like Brown, Columbia, or NYU weights them.</p>

<p>Depends on the school. Basketweaving 101 certainly won’t be looked at the same as a major prerequisite.</p>
<p>I have a 3.75 overall transferable for the fall semester. But i’m taking 2 non-transferable class (I might get two Bs)in the winter intersession. I am possibly apply as a soph transfer so i was wondering how much weight is put on those two classes because they will appear on my transcript (spring semester starts on the 22). And it will suck if they weight the overall gpa more because those two Bs pulled them down a lot.</p>
