So I transferred from a small, 2nd tier school after freshman year, to a 1st class institution. I had a difficult time with the transition. My GPA during freshman year was about a 3.6 and I dropped to a 3.0 during first semester sophomore year. All of my credits transferred into the school, but the grades do not count in my GPA. Will law schools see my grades from freshman year on my applications or just the GPA from the school I transferred into? My grades second semester did go up, but I would like to have a cumulative 3.5 rather than a 3.25. Thanks

you will need to send transcripts from both schools, and all your grades will count.

All your grades count, no matter where you took the courses.
