Does anyone know how to transfer credit from a community college to Berkeley without being a transfer student? I took a couple classes for breadth over the summer, but I have no idea how to get credit for them. All the info I can find is for transfer students.

The same info would apply! Check out assit.org and see if they have a matriculation agreement with the CC you went to if they do then you can look up your class and see if it was transferable! If not you can sumbit to your college a request to review your course and determine if it is comparbale to a berkeley course! You must submit your transcrpts to your college, it takes quite a while to get your courses evaluated!

Talk to your college adviser and ask what the policies are.

As long as Berkeley has your transcript of the community college courses, they should do it soon (as long as there is articulation on ASSIST.org). Otherwise, you’d have to petition for credit.

Also, I emailed a counselor asking when transfer credit will be updated, and they said around mid-October.
