Transfering from a 4+2 yr. to a 5 yr

so is it at all possible to transfer from a 4+2 year architecture program to a 5 year program? I want to know becasue I'm going instate where the program is 4+2 but I was considering transfering maybe after a year or 2.

im not sure but i dotn think its easy at all if possible at all. a 5 year has a very intense course schedule as to the 4 + 2 where many people take non arch classes as well.

Depending on the school, you'll most likely be placed as a 1st year (b/c even if some credits carry over, you'll have to start studio from year one). So considering that you'll be in the 4+2 school for 1 or 2 years, and then another 5 years, that's a lot of money for tuition

okay thanks. i though i was going instate which is a 4+2 year program, but i was actually accepted to u of o architecture which has a 5 year so i don't think i will need to transfer after all.
