<p>I am currently a freshman at UC Davis. I am cool with UCD, but I wanted to apply to Berkeley for transfer in case anything changes next year (there are multiple considerations, but the bottom line is that I want to be able to choose whether I will stay in Davis next year). Hence the following questions:</p>
<p>1) I remember that the transfer application deadline last year was a month after the freshman deadline. This year it says the deadline is Nov 30, which is the same as the freshman deadline, so did that get changed?
2) As far as I understand, UC only allows transfers on a junior level. However, by the end of my freshman year, I should have fulfilled my GE requirements and the lower division requirements for my major. I should also get 90 units; if I don't, I can take a community college class over the summer to get the few remaining units. Does that mean that I count as a junior?
3) I believe UC-UC transfers are legit from reading other CollConf threads, but I just want to make sure.</p>
