i got into BU College of General Studies. I heard that it isnt a good college and I was wondering if I could go there for a year and than transfer into another university such as Northeastern and start taking classes in my major. </p>
<p>Please help. I heard the CGS ruins your 2 years and you still have to take prerequisits and major classes junior and senior year.</p>

I am the person who wrote the CGS visit above that Rodney so kindly linked to. If it doesn’t answer your questions, feel free to email me. I am just a mom, but when we went we weren’t all that convinced, and now we are completely sold! Feel free to PM me, or also Dean Wells is extremely helpful if you want to call teh college directly. The reason I spent so much time writing the above post is that there is some really out of date, uninformed comments circling around this board that if you read carefullly are almost all from students who were not in the program. It is a fantastic opportunity. Our DD is turning down a big scholarship to go there, and elected to decline Northeastern’s wait list offer as well.</p>
