<p>What are the chances of transferring from CAS to Engineering freshman year? What about Sophomore year?</p>
<p>I like the major I am in (Computer Science), but I was just wondering in case anything changes (most likely will not).</p>
<p>I’m not sure about exact numbers, but I know a few people that have done it without a problem. As long as you keep your grades up, you should be able to switch. For the most part, it is best to switch before you start sophomore year because that is when you have major specific classes for engineering, but there are people that will go backwards. If you wait until junior year to switch, you will probably have to go an extra year.</p>
