Hello Everyone,
Currently, I am a freshman at a local branch of the University of Akron, with the main campus located in Akron, Ohio. I live at home, work part time, and go to school part time. I enjoy going to school; I like the campus and I like my job. However, after next year (after my sophomore year) I will have to either go to the main campus or find a new school. I really would rather not move to Akron, and my options are limited as far as schools in Ohio go, since I would like to live in the city. So, I am asking for your advice on what to do school wise after my sophomore year. Here are some details:

I would like to find a school in New York City. My uncle lived there so I was fortunate enough to be able to visit often. I've loved the city since I was a little kid, and there's no other place I'd rather live than NYC. However, with the SUNY and CUNY systems it seems difficult to transfer in from an out-of-state school. I'm open to schools around the Los Angeles and San Diego area as well, so long as it's an urban campus.

I would like a low out of state tuition. Obviously, it's going to be difficult to find, but the lower the better, just nothing too unreasonable. Ex. $50,000 a year is a bit too much.

I would like to find my own apartment, with a budget of around $1,000 a month. It doesn't have to be big, just enough to live comfortably for one person.

I graduated high school top 10 in my class, ACT: 27, GPA: 3.97 on Ohio 4.0 scale, and National Honor Society member. I finished my first semester at college with a 3.58 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

I want to get a Master's Degree in Accounting.

Any help from here would be greatly appreciated, as well as info on transfering to CUNY and SUNY systems from my current community college. Thank you guys so much, I really appreciate it.
