Transfering from Cornell to Penn

I’m a sophomore at Cornell premed with a 3.3 GPA…good college stats…what are my chances of getting in as a transfer…i hate cornell…i have to get out of here!?

Why do you want to leave Cornell?

same reasons bball87 does?

Urban colleges are in vogue now that the crime rate in cities is lower (or at least percieved to be so).

How much do you think you can bring your GPA up this year? I'd say that unless you have a truly compelling story, you need at least a 3.5 to have a shot, and a 3.7 to have a good shot.

I think you have a decent shot. I don't know a ton about transfers but I do know that Cornell's gpa's tend to be deflated.

Ivy-to-ivy transfers usually have to have a, as stated, compelling reason. So why do you hate cornell so much?

OMG...i am a freshman and want the exact same thing, wow.
