transfering from emory

<p>hey guys. i'm a freshman at emory university and i was thinking of transfering to brown university. my gpa so far is a 3.68. my highschool gpa is a 4.14 and my SAT was a 2150. one thing i've had a problem with was if i should transfer or not. i'm perfectly happy at emory. i love i there. there is just some part of me that wants to go to a more academically recognized school. so what do u think my chances are </p>

<p>well, it's worth a shot, but realize that if you're only reason is "to go to a more academically recognized school," that may be evident in your essays and keep you from being accepted. Since you're already at a very good university, you'll need to do a lot of research to discover what Brown has that Emory doesn't.</p>
