Transfering from Penn State

<p>I am currently a freshman at Penn State (UPark) and i really want to transfer to UCSB.
should complete two years here then transfer?
or should i transfer to some community college in California and then transfer to UCSB?
Will i loose a lot of credits from Penn State?
What kind of GPA should i have for them to even consider me?
Would i get good financial aid?
or will they deny me since i need financial aid?</p>

<p>I would recommend that you transfer to a California community college. With the economy the way it is, I really don’t see the UC system accepting a ton of four-year transfers from out of state.</p>

<p>Be careful tho, UC’s are cutting everywhere so it may be more difficult to transfer in a year or two.</p>
