After looking at many schools websites for transfer students and their degree road maps, I’ve noticed that many of them show upper classmen still taking GE courses. Why? Are CC transfer students just required to complete their GE before they transfer, meanwhile students attending the 4 year school just spread them out? I’ll easily have 30+ closer to 40 credits in GE classes to transfer. Does this basically mean that I’ll primary be taking my upper division classes and nothing else?
