<p>I am a freshman Virginia Tech student with a 3.9 (just finished my first exams) and was wondering what my chances were of transferring into UVA for the start of my sophomore year.</p>
<p>I had a high school GPA of 3.8
I had an ACT score of 33
My essays were good, and I have confidence in my writing ability.</p>
<p>I can get very, very good recs, but the people who I could get them from would not like the idea of me leaving the university, so I would rather not attempt until I have had some feedback.</p>
<p>I live in VA, unfortunately NOVA.</p>
