Transfering, no application fee?

Hello, I had set my hopes for going to Stony Brook this year for my Freshman Year of college. But I didn't get in. I'm not sure if i remember correctly but I think someone said if you still chose to go to Sb the following year you just have to ask the admissions office to look at the file again but with my College transcript. I've tried looking around but i couldn't find that post.

Also i heard that if you above a 3.0 GPA you'll do fine for the transfer admission and have a good chance of getting in?

Just wondering if thats true, I'm expecting to get somewhere around a 3.0 GPA from CUNY Queens College for my first semester (15 Credits).

Sort of. We can update an application for up to one year; but we need that request in writing. E-mail us with your complete situation (enroll@stonybrook.edu) and we'll update you for fall. You'll need at least 24 credits with a 3.0.
