Transfering out of NYU-Stern.. any recommendation?

Hello there,
I am currently a freshman at Stern, and I have not liked my experiences here so far. There are multiple things that contributed to this, but the lack of diversity in student body and limited choices of strong majors (Stern is mainly known for its stellar finance dept, not much else) are the most significant reasons why I want to transfer. I have little interest in finance and I'd like to study psychology in the future.

I have 2120 SAT and 3.8 GPA along with a couple of good ECs (both college & HS): Stern Scholars, Consulting Group valued member, HS President, Perfect Attendance Award (4yrs)

I love big cities, musical theater, pro baseball and a friendly student body.
Which schools should I be looking into?

Thanks for help!

Is this Pete Lee? Or who?

It is you Pete! Why do you want to transfer? I'm applying for transfer as well.

haha way to protect identity on the web, ***! lol I dont think I can stand the price tag and lack of diversity in Stern anymore.

any other advices?

Have you considered CAS?

Columbia? University of Pennsylvania? Brown?

Have you thought about UChicago? It meets some of your requirements, although most of the people I met when I visited were sort of pretentious. Northwestern isn't too far from the city, but the students I met there were nicer.

thanks for input everyone. I am actually considering Columbia and Northwestern... although they have nearly impossible acceptance rates for transfer students lol.

you'd probably be accepted to Northwestern but Columbia is just insane.
