transfering to BYU!!!

<p>i am thinking to transfer to BYU for FALL 2009. i jst need some advice and information...hope you guys will help me.</p>

<p>i applied to BYU as freshman for fall 08 but was rejected. i am an accounting major, and i know its hard to get into BYU as their Accounting program is highly ranked. </p>

<p>what are my prospects of getting in as transfer if i am able to make GPA of 3.5-4.0. ??
and does anyone knows cutoff GPA for transfer scholarships?</p>

<p>i know its a mormon univ, but one of my friend overthere told me that its kinda easy for non-Christian to get accustomed to college.</p>

<p>and overall what do you guys think of accounting program at BYU??</p>

<p>Accounting is being outsourced. You know you have to take scripture right? Good luck if you are non-LDS.</p>

<p>if you have 30+ credits and a 3.5 gpa, you shouldn't have too much trouble getting into BYU. in order to get into the accounting program however, you would need to complete the prerequisites with a 3.9-4.0 cumulative gpa. </p>

<p>the accounting program is good, but its no walk in the park. expect to spend at least 30 hours a week studying. you can do it though, if you really put your time and effort into it.</p>
