Transfering to CAL, LA, SD

I'm an econ major and applying for fall 2010 admission.

For econ requirements prior to transferring on assist.org, UCLA and CAL require only calc 1 and calc 2, while Econ at UCSD requires calc 1, 2 AND 3. Econ management science at UCSD requires calc 1, 2, 3, and linear algebra as well.

My question is, Would it be worth it to take calc 3 next smstr(im taking calc 2 right now) just for UCSD?

CAL, UCLA, UCSD aren't my only transfer options.

Schools that I will be applying to:
Columbia
Cornell
NYU(applying for spring 2010 transfer.)
CAL
UCLA
UCSD

It depends on if you want to go onto a graduate program in Economics. Although Cal and UCLA do not require math beyond Calc 2, they recommend higher levels of math to their Econ students who wish to pursue an advanced degree.

Depends on your stats. If its good than I would just take cal 1 and 2. If you don’t into LA/Berk, you can always play catch up over the summer at SD. If you doing really good in calculus than I would just take it. In my opinion, cal 2 is the hardest out of the 3 calculus classes.

hey steeze do you go to miracosta?
