Transfering to U of Colorado...

Hello all,

I am currently enrolled at Southern Illinois University college in Carbondale, IL. The school here is terrible and I really want to transfer. The school is ok but I find that I want to get the Big 10 experience and the more traditional college experience rather than not.

I am a 24 year old hispanic male. I am a high school dropout and have a GED. I now have 48 credits at SIU and a 3.098 GPA. I am studying Sociology and wish to continue my studies at IU. I have steadily brought my grades up since my 2nd semester at SIU where they declined (due to personal reasons).

What would I have to do to transfer to U of Colorado?

As a side not would letters of recomendation really improve my chances?

Thanks.

Bump for me.

go there. be sure to click on the requirements tab, too.

recommendations are optional, but if you think they'll be positive and strong, i'd suggest at least one.

Thanks for the advice.
