transfering to UCLA, UCB, UCD chances

GPA: currently 3.7 +

Major: Civil Engineering

The only problem i have is that ONE of my chemistry classes will not be completed by the end of the spring semester....

do i still have a shot at these schools?

Also...i have been working at a civil engineering firm since freshman year of high school. I have been involved with numerous projects in the Sacramento area. Pretty much i know what im doing...

please help me!! thanks

I think you have a great shot at civil engr. at UCLA. I wouldn't worry too much about the one missing chemistry class. A friend of mine was missing linear algebra and was still admitted. However, keep in mind that they might make you retake the series due to the difference in series (?). Just a thought.

IMO, UCB is more competitive to get into than UCLA for engineering, but again with your GPA you'd should be OK. Just don't overlook your personal statement.
