Transfering to Vanderbilt?

My question is if I would be able to get into Vanderbilt University as a transfer for next year. I think that I would qualify, except for my high school grades.

My cummulative g.p.a. was a 3.4 in high school.
I played water polo and our team won 2 state championships when I was playing.
I got a 31 on the ACT.
A 2050 on the SAT.
I was on my schools literary arts staff my junior and senior years.
I was on Student council as a freshman and sophmore and on the AP IB student council my junior and senior years.
I worked 30 hours a week during the summers after my sophmore, junior and senior years.
I volenteered 40 hours a year with middle schoolers. (160 hours total)
I was a YWCA yound woman of achievement in high school
I graduated with an IB diploma, which means i took 3, 2 year ib classes and 3, 1 year ib classes.

SO ANYWAYs... I didn't get into Vanderbilt the first time around.
I just finished my first semester at Ohio Wesleyan University with a 3.9...
do you think I have a shot at getting in as a transfer student.

I dont need any scholarship money.

You have a good chance. There aren't a lot of transfer spots, but there are some, so give it a go.

Agree that you have a good chance. I'd spend serious time on your "Why Vanderbilt" essays, and work for good prof recs.

Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback!
