I got accepted into UC Davis as a junior transfer and I have a 3.7 gpa with over 60 credits but I’m afraid I might get my first D with Calculus. I’m honestly frustrated to tears because on tests the class average will be 60% or below and she never curves; there are also only 3 tests total. I’m scared of having my acceptance rescinded if I get a D. I read another thread where people said they were still accepted with D’s but had to have a good explanation. Honestly, what are my chances of being accepted if I don’t pass by the end of the semester?
Well, the good thing you have going is you have a strong GPA right now. You haven’t got any D’s before, so that’s a good sign too. Honestly, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. You definitely won’t get credit for it if you get a D, but it’s not the best scenario in the world either. At this point, you’ll just have to let it play out. Focus on doing well and not worrying about your admission!
Thank you for your advice. I’ll do my best.
