<p>In most cases, yes, I don't think credit will be given at college B. It'll show up on the transcript from college A as AP credit, the scores will have to be send from collegeboard, and then they base their awarded credit from there.</p>
<p>Yes, usually you do. For example, you could have so much AP credit that you get sophomore standing at UCSB, but if you transfer to Stanford (where they take very few APs) you would probably lose that extra year.</p>
