Hey, when I applied to Georgetown I checked off the college as my interest. However, I've been thinking about everything and I might be interested in the SFS. If so, would it be easy to go from the college to SFS?

I am in this EXACT same situation. Funny. Well, I called the admissions department early yesterday morning and asked them what I could do if I decided I wanted to make the switch, and I was told that I'd have to wait a year before doing it. The lady I spoke with on the phone told me that when she had gone to G'town, she had started in the nursing school and transferred to SFS quite easily after her freshman year. She said that while not guaranteed, it is actually fairly common and not too difficult. She did recommend that, if you decide you want to transfer after a year, you take courses that go toward fulfilling the requirement in the SFS as well as the College. Hope this helps.
