Transfering

I am currently a freshman at URI looking to transfer for the fall of 2010. My first semester GPA was a 3.15. my High school GPA was a 3.1 and my combine SAT score was a 1510.
I am applying to Umass amherst which i was already rejected from out of high school as well as when i attempted to transfer for the spring. I am hoping now that I have a decent college GPA things will be different this time around. I am also applying to Suffolk and possibly UNH. What are my chances at these schools? Is a 3.15 good enough to transfer to these schools?

I went to Suffolk and i can tell you that you have a pretty decent chance of getting in. There avg GPA is 3.10 and sat score are around the 50 percentile. My Sat score was a lot worse than that though i had a high g.p.a. Umass is starting to get more and more competitive as the years go by due to the economy. You are well in range of their average GPA lowest they accept is a 2.7. SAT score is not too bad. Depends on your major since Isenburg and their engineering programs are little bit more competitive. I don’t know to much about UNH.
