Transfering.

i got rejected for my first choice, which was ESF, but was offered a place in the fall semester of 2012 under the guaranteed transfer conditions.

i think i'm going to go with my second choice, potsdam. i like a small setting and nice environment. i heard that its remote, which i personally think i'll enjoy. i come from the city and think potsdam would be a nice place for me to escape the city life. my question is, if i like it at potsdam and get comfortable, how would it be like to transfer to ESF my junior year? i would have to start all over, meet new people, adapt to a new environment, etc.

does it really matter where i go for your undergraduate, if it's not the top schools in the nation? i plan to go to ESF for graduate school. open to any comments.

i’m going to potsdam toooooo!!! I’m not sure about how hard it will be to adjust when you transfer to esf but I just wanted to say that potsdam is the best and even though I got into some more selective schools I could not choose anywhere but potsdam :)
