So I'm done with my first year of college at The University of Texas at Austin, and now I'm faced with this situation where I have to decide if I wanna come back next year or transfer to The University of Houston. This situation came to be because I wanna apply to the business school at UT but I can only apply until Spring of 2015 and in order to be admitted I need a GPA above a 3.7 and some indicator courses (Microeconomics, Macro, Calc I and II) I will be taking Calc II this summer which would be the last indicator course I need, but it would also mean that would be my last core class. All majors have to do this core curriculum and thanks to Dual Credit I finished all of those classes. Now I dont know if waiting a year to be in a major plus spending all that money for dorming and paying for classes unrelated to my major is worth it. Also, there is that possibility I wont get in. Many people have told me that I will because I would be taking blow off classes, and Im willing to work hard for it; but other people have told me to transfer because I would be ahead of everyone and finish school faster. I really just dont know because the business school at UT is very prestigious and if I go to Houston I would have to commute since I'm from the city and I dont want to live at home. Also, I love Austin and the people there, I really feel like I was having a true college experience. However, Im already admitted to the business school at UofH. I dont know I just feel like if I go to UofH i will be missing out. Any advice?

Sidenote: the main major I wanted to was Engineering and there is also a higher chance I could get into the engineering school at UofH.
