Transferring After a Year and a Half

I am planning on transferring from my local community college to a different university and there is a program that allows you to transfer after 40 credits.
This is usually completed within a 2 year time frame, but at the rate I am going, I will finish it within a year and a half.

My question is: Do you think I should stay for that last semester and take some classes related to my major (computer science) or go ahead and transfer early so I can start spring term at the other university?

Some things to consider:

Be sure the CS courses will count when you transfer.

What will your housing situation be? If you’re going to live on campus, it might be easier to enter in the fall for housing.

Are there any sequence courses that are best started in the fall.
